Two Pioneers of the New Public Management
Stephen Goldsmith, the former innovative mayor of Indianapolis and his colleague have published Networked Government, a prescription for more market-based government. Elaine Kamarck, a former Clinton administration staffer has published The End of Government As We Know It. Both are now at the Kennedy School of Public Management at Harvard University.
